For the safety of all riders, Parking and Transportation Services, as well as our vendors Academy, Zipcar and Gotcha Mobility, are taking extra precautions to minimize community transmission of COVID-19
Niner Transit
Academy-operated Niner Transit vehicles are sanitized daily with EPA-approved, hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and wipes. Academy staff wearing personal protective equipment:
- Wipe high-touch surfaces with disinfectants
- Mist buses with disinfectant spray
-
Restock sanitizer wipes daily
Riders are expected to:
- Wear a mask or face covering while riding
- Enter through the front door near the driver
- Exit through the rear door
If riders do not have a face covering, a complimentary disposable mask will be provided, if available.
Watch a video about sanitization procedures.
Paratransit vehicles
Paratransit vehicles are disinfected with tuberculocidal spray twice daily: before each shift and at the end of the day.
Paratransit ridership will be limited to one rider (plus an assistant if needed).
At each shift change, drivers:
- Mist the vehicle with disinfectant spray
- Wipe seating areas, seatbelts, door handles and the driver’s area with disinfectant wipes
-
Clean floor areas with disinfectant cleaner, if needed
Riders are expected to wear a mask or face covering for the duration of their trip. If riders do not have a face covering, a complimentary disposable mask will be provided.
Gotcha bikeshare and e-scooters
Gotcha employees will:
- Disinfect bikes and e-scooters throughout each day
- Use hand sanitizer when retrieving or rebalancing bikes and e-scooters
-
Follow CDC guidelines pertaining to proper personal hygiene practices
