Revised Parking and Niner Transit Plan for Commencement
To facilitate final exams on Friday, May 10, the following areas will be closed for commencement parking:

Cone Deck, Level 1 (no entry or exit on the Lot 7 side of Cone Deck)

ADA spaces in West Deck (reserved spaces will have cones placed in front)

SAC North lot and SAC ADA lot
Please be aware that campus parking and roads will have extremely heavy traffic beginning Friday, May 10, at 2:30 p.m.
Changes to Niner Transit Service:

Regular Niner Transit service will run from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10. Service will change to commencement shuttle service only from 2:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Niner Transit service will then resume with two Silver Line buses and two Green Line buses until midnight.

On Saturday, May 11, Niner Transit service will provide commencement shuttle service only from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Niner Transit service will then resume with two Silver Line buses and two Green Line buses operating until midnight. This change is to accommodate the influx of campus traffic. Silver, Green and Gold lines will be affected.

During commencement shuttle service, bus service will only be provided from East Deck and UNC Charlotte Main Station to the Popp Martin Student Union.
A few other notes:

Craver Rd. will be closed on Friday, May 10, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, May 11, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Please visit pats.uncc.edu for changes in traffic pattern.

Light Rail -- Consider riding light rail to campus on Friday and Saturday. Anyone without a CATS all-access transit pass can purchase a single ticket through the CATS mobile app or at a kiosk at any train station. Standard CATS rates apply.

For information on regular Niner Transit schedules, download the free UNC Charlotte NextRide app at the App Store for Apple or Android. The app provides real-time tracking of the buses with estimated stop times. The same information is also available on the UNC Charlotte NextRide website.
